Hi, I'm Ezra and this is a day in the life of a kid in a wheelchair. Behind me is Rafie. He helps me get around and do school work. Crystal lies he burned once. Did you forget me?
Every morning I go up the same elevator.
"Hey."
"Yeah. What's up?"
"Have you pressed the elevator button yet?"
"Oh. Have you?"
"No. Do you mind? Do you mind doing that?"
"Just— I mean, how are we going to go up the elevator?"
"Why would you just wait in front of an elevator?"
"No, I was waiting for it to come from upstairs. I just pressed it. I was waiting for it to come."
"That's not how elevators work."
"No. Yeah. Sorry. That was my bad."
"When the door opens, go through."
"Oh my god. When the door opens, go through."
"I'll go."
"You have to go through."
"No, I'll go."
"You've got to be careful."
"You have to be careful."
"Ow, dude."
"Just bang me into the wall."
"No, that was you."
"You— I swear the front's longer."
After a long and perilous journey through the elevator, I finally get to my classroom to start the day. I start the day with homeroom: Oscar, Tommy, Hudson, Ezra. Then I have science and then maths.
During recess, my mates and I hang out here. This is Reuben. He always eats a banana. This is Max. He's got an interesting hairstyle. This is Oscar. He laughs at practically everything. This is Zayen. I do not know what he's doing in this clip; it's quite strange. This is Marcus. We love Marcus. He's a chill guy. This is Jack. He likes yoghurt. He's strong. I also do not know what he's doing in this clip; it's quite weird as well. My mates and I just chill and talk. It's a really nice vibe. Then the bell rings and they leave, and I guess that's my recess.
Next, I have English. Just because I'm in a wheelchair doesn't mean I can't hang out with my mates. "Quiet down, class. It's time for English." "Okay. Please open up to chapter eight of your books, please."
Something different about me is I get tired quickly, so normally I leave it around lunchtime.
