About this Short Film
As much as possible (Lakshman Kodituwakku, Australia, 2020) is a short work that draws attention to perception and viewpoint without prescribing a single reading. Quiet and considered, it invites audiences to reflect on how an individual’s inner world is sensed and expressed. Presented in the Focus on Ability International Short Film Festival, it sits alongside films that celebrate ability, everyday achievements and personal perspective. Expect a thoughtful, human portrait that opens space for different ways of seeing and understanding.

Film Transcript
I have challenges to face, obstacles to overcome and the world to conquer, and like everybody else I have the ability to conquer the world. I want to find happiness in the world just like you, but that is never easy. I must have been born with great fear; maybe in the past life I was afraid of life's challenges, perhaps because life was out of balance. I learned from myself that we need to stay connected with our lives whether we have the ability or not. Nobody tries to get the pleasure out of happiness. Where else can a person who has lost his happiness get pleasure from trying you.
